Process
We stated by prototyping a frame out of PBC pipe and then began sourcing materials and searching for a welder. We picked one up at a garage sale and taught ourselves how to stick weld. While we didn’t get to body paneling on this project we achieved a rolling frame that you could ride.
About
This was a project I did with a few friends before going to SCAD. It started with us just watching Tron Legacy and jokingly saying that we should build one of the light bikes. As we started to think about it more it became more and more less of a joke and more plausible. This was the project that made me realize what I wanted to do and I applied to SCAD.
